How to list a Minecraft server on Spixy

Open Add server in the Spixy directory, sign in and enter your server name, public address, port, Minecraft version and game modes. Add a clear description and project links. After saving, check the public page and connect using its IP. Regular listings are free; paid promotion highlights a server in the directory and is separate from player votes.

A useful listing helps a player choose: understand the game mode, see the latest status check, copy the address or download your launcher. An accurate description and a working address are more useful than a list of advertising promises.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Prepare the server details

Use a public IP or domain, game port and supported Minecraft version. Test this address in the game. For a modded server, prepare a launcher link or installation instructions.

  2. Create the listing

Select Add server in the directory. Enter the name, address, version and relevant game modes. Explain what players can do, which rules apply and whether a modpack is required.

  3. Check the public page

Check the address, banner and links. Status reflects the latest check from Spixy; it does not measure each player's ping. Hidden and banned servers are excluded from the directory.

  4. Choose promotion if needed

Manage the server in your directory profile. The duration and price are shown before payment. Promotion adds a labeled rotating placement and a highlighted card. It does not add votes or guarantee players.

  5. Measure interest

Compare card impressions, page views, IP copies and website or launcher clicks over 7 or 30 days. These actions measure interest, not in-game connections. Improve your description and banner using the results.

Questions and answers

Do I need Spixy hosting?

No. You can list a Minecraft server hosted elsewhere. You need a working public address and access to manage its listing.

Does promotion add votes?

No. Advertising is labeled separately. Player votes and paid promotion are different metrics.

Are players guaranteed after purchase?

No. Promotion creates more opportunities to see your listing. Joining depends on players, the project description and server availability.

Where do I manage the listing?

Open the directory profile at /servers/profile. Add a new server at /servers/add.

Start with a free listing and a useful description. Visitor data makes it easier to decide whether paid promotion is worthwhile.
