How to set up player login via Discord
Discord login takes two steps: create an application in the Discord Developer Portal and paste its Client ID and Secret into your Spixy project settings. After that, a Log in with Discord button appears on your project website and in the launcher, and you get player roles, bans and sessions.
Instead of a home-grown registration system, hook up Discord login: players sign in with their own account, and you get roles, bans and sessions. It's convenient for players and for you — everyone stays connected in your Discord community.

Step by step
- 1
Create your Discord application
In the Discord Developer Portal, create an app and its OAuth credentials (Client ID/Secret) — it takes a couple of minutes.
- 2
Connect it in Spixy
Paste the application's credentials into your project settings — Discord login turns on for the website and the launcher.
- 3
Players log in
A player clicks Log in with Discord and lands in their account, while you see them in the player list.
- 4
Manage roles and bans
Assign roles and issue bans — a banned player loses both the launcher and access to the modpack files.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate site for login?
No. Discord login works both on the public project website and in the launcher.
What does banning a player do?
A banned player loses access to the launcher and the modpack files too — not just the server.
Which plan is it available on?
Player login via Discord is included in Pro. On Free, username-based login is available.
Player accounts are part of the Spixy ecosystem: together with the launcher, website and donation store, you manage your whole community in one place.
