How to update server mods for all players automatically
To update mods for every player at once, replace the files in your modpack and click Publish. On the next launch, each player's launcher compares files and downloads only the ones that changed, removing any mods you deleted. There's no need to rebuild the .exe or mail out archives — players don't have to do anything.
Mailing out mod archives and asking players to re-download the whole pack is a thing of the past. In Spixy, updates arrive automatically: change a mod in the dashboard and, on the next launch, each player's launcher downloads only the files that changed.

Step by step
- 1
Open your modpack
In the dashboard, open the modpack you want — it has a file manager with all your mods and configs.
- 2
Make your changes
Add, replace or remove mods. Pull them from Modrinth/CurseForge or upload your own .jar files.
- 3
Publish
Publishing creates a new snapshot of the modpack — Spixy works out which files changed on its own.
- 4
Players get the update
On the next launch, the launcher compares files and downloads only the difference. No full re-download and no rebuilding the .exe.
What's included
File-by-file sync
Only what actually changed gets downloaded.
Removed files cleaned up
A mod you delete is removed from players too — the set always matches.
No .exe rebuild
The launcher itself never needs updating, only the modpack's contents.
Instant for everyone
Hit Publish and the update is available to every player right away.
Frequently asked questions
Do players need to do anything?
No. They just launch the launcher — it compares files and downloads the changes on its own before joining the server.
What if I remove a mod?
Managed folders sync file by file: a removed mod is deleted on players' machines too, so their set matches the server.
Do players need to re-download the .exe when mods change?
No. The .exe is only re-downloaded when Spixy itself ships a new launcher version — and then a banner appears.
Modpack auto-updates are a core Spixy feature — and they come with a branded launcher, a project website, a donation store and RCON, all with no code.
